Darling, let me introduce myself.

I'm A'Freeka Nature. Born in Milwaukee, raised in Southern California, and absolutely living my best life — sequins, stories, and all.

I've been a performer and drag artist for years. I've walked pageant stages, competed in local drag searches — placing in the top five, thank you very much — and I've been crowned. In 2020, I was named Mx Caring Heart by Shanti Orange County. In 2022, Wayward Artist gave me the crown I deserved: Little Miss Wayward.

But the work I'm most proud of? Every night I step into that dressing room, sit down at that mirror, and become the ending of a story that almost didn't have one.

You see, I'm not separate from Austin Nation. I'm what he became when he decided to live. I'm the part of him that survived addiction, outlasted an HIV diagnosis, earned a PhD, and still found time to be fabulous. I am his alter ego, his armor, his joy, and his truth — all wrapped up in an orange gown.

I made my debut in Becoming Austin Nation: From Crack to PhD - A Drag Queen's Story, a show that has sold out stages from Orange County to New York City to Edinburgh, Scotland. BroadwayWorld Los Angeles nominated us for Best Cabaret, Concert, and Solo Performance. The critics called the show inspirational, sacred, and unforgettable.

I have also performed in Behind the Mask at the Aurora Theatre, the Long Beach Playhouse, and the Kraine Theatre in New York City.

In 2021, I submitted my audition tape for RuPaul's Drag Race. The journey continues.
